Airline 69: Return to Casablanca continues in the footsteps of developer Wet Attack: The Empire Comes Back as it offers managerial strategy with romantic elements. Set in 1942, players take control of Pilot Wayne who finds his aircraft shot down near Casablanca but survives thanks to Chou-Chou who had hidden in said aircraft; her goal being obtaining her license for own airline operations while keeping Chou-Chou satisfied throughout.
