Even gods age with time. Saturn, one of Rome's great deities, decides it's time for retirement and wants his son to take his place as successor. The council of gods accepts his request with one condition attached: He must prove worthy of their trust and divine powers they'll soon bestow. Things initially look positive for Saturn's son at Capitoline Hill but Mars - god of war - gets angry whenever anyone mentions our hero or their connection; furthermore Mars swears never again allow the youngling become god.
